There is a choice of two self-catering units, which are available on either a weekly basis, or short-term lets out of season. We also offer price reductions for out of season stays for fewer guests than the capacity of the property. Please contact us for further details. All guests have use of the tennis court and croquet lawn within the grounds of the main house. There is ample car parking for all the self-catering lets.
Five en-suite rooms are available in the main house. All rooms have tea and coffee-making facilities, colour television and hairdryer.
In the vast grounds, try your hand at croquet or tennis. For the keen angler, coarse fishing is also on hand. Lambs can also be found in the grounds at certain times of the year!
Payment is by Bank Transfer or cash – unfortunately we are unable to accept credit or debit cards.
The lounge is a large sunny double-aspect room overlooking the gardens of the main house, and is furnished with modern large leather settees, together with TV with Freeview and DVD player.
Upstairs we have two bright and airy double-aspect master bedrooms - one double en-suite (and room for a cot) and one double, with additional bunk beds. A small double room shares the bathroom with one of the master bedrooms. The remaining two bedrooms (one en-suite) can be furnished with either twin single beds or double beds, as required. A large shower room is also located upstairs.
Guests will have the use of the extensive grounds of South Allington House, with large gas barbecue and garden furniture provided.
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. The charge is £25 per week per dog (with a maximum of 2 dogs). Please ensure the dog/s are kept on the ground floor of the property and that any waste is disposed of responsibly. The dog/s must be kept on a lead in the grounds of South Allington House, as there are sheep present. We also ask you to check that your dog has up-to-date flea prevention treatment before he/she comes on holiday!
Dog owners are liable to pay for any repairs/replacements to fixtures or fittings, where the damage has been caused by dogs.

Bookings run from Friday to Friday. Out of season short breaks of three or more days are available.
The combined kitchen and dining room is equipped with electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer and fridge freezer, and the lounge contains a colour television with Freeview and DVD player. An extra cloakroom is provided downstairs for convenience.

Turn off the A38 for Buckfastleigh, Totnes and Kingsbridge, and follow signs for Kingsbridge, and follow signs for Kingsbridge.
In Kingsbridge take the A379 main Dartmouth road.
Having passed through Frogmore turn right over the bridge signposted East Prawle.
Follow signs for East Prawle as far as Chivelstone Cross, turn left and we are ½ mile on the right.
